From ELT to Elite

Akshay Kapur Avatar

Executive Leadership Teams (ELTs) are a group of executives leading different functional areas of a business.

ELTs come together to share updates on successes and blockers, focusing on business impact.

ELTs aim to collaborate based on a vision.

Elite teams are exemplary individuals that regularly model commitment to first principles and their collective values.

Elite teams co-create the conditions for themselves and their teams to deliver business impact.

Elite teams are visionary leaders with whom others want to collaborate.

You don’t have to be an ELT to be an Elite team.

As an ELT though, you do have to ask yourselves what it would take to be Elite.

The next step is in the very origin of the word, “elite”, which in French is élite, or “choice”.

You simply make a choice to be the best.
